PHWG (Pediatric Hematology WG)
Background
The Pediatric Hematology Working Group (PHWG) is focused on diagnostic methods and treatments for inherited bone marrow failure, acquired aplastic and dysplastic diseases, inherited disorders of haematopoiesis, and autoimmune cytopenia (for all lineages, i.e. hemoglobinopathies, thrombocytopenias etc.). PHWG members also help to train YI and trainees in different Swiss academic institutions.
The Working Group meets regularly online and in-person.

EWOG, MDS/SAA/JMML - Aim: Register patients, Monthly Videoboard discussions, Participation in research projects, Drug resistance profiling, Treatment/SCT in SAA/RCC
DBA - Aim: Collect data on CH patients with DBA
PARC-ITP - Aim: Participate in an international ITP registry
RBCR - Aim: Create CH registry for rare red cell diseases, after Ethic approval ammendment fo other CH centers
Guidelines/SOP - Aim: Evaluate/harmonize SOPs used in CH hematology
Morpho-Teaching - Aim: Organize “CH-MOPS“
Interaction with Industry - Aim: Evaluate/standardize relation to industry
Hemostasis - Aim: Support for individual haemostais WP
