Save the Date: Scientific Symposium - 50 Years of Childhood Cancer Registration

On the occasion of its 50th anniversary, the Swiss Childhood Cancer Registry (ChCR) is organising a special milestone symposium in Bern from Friday, 21 August to Saturday, 22 August 2026. The two-day event will reflect on five decades of childhood cancer registration in Switzerland and explore upcoming horizons in clinical surveillance and research.

Program Overview

• Friday, 21 August 2026: The Scientific Programme (held in English) is specifically designed for medical professionals, researchers, and data contributors. It will focus on the highlights and future perspectives of research driven by data from the Swiss Childhood Cancer Registry.

• Saturday, 22 August 2026: This session (held in German and French) is tailored specifically for survivors and their families. It will focus on networking, exchange, the needs of those affected, and the active participation of patients in research.
