SSPHO Member Nicolas Waespe Elected Chair of SIOPE Host Genome Working Group

We are pleased to share that Nicolas Waespe, SSPHO member, has recently been elected Chair of the Host Genome Working Group of the European Society for Paediatric Oncology (SIOPE).

The SIOPE Host Genome Working Group brings together experts across Europe to advance research and clinical expertise on cancer predisposition syndromes (CPS), which account for a considerable proportion of childhood cancers. The group focuses on improving identification, diagnosis, surveillance, counselling, and treatment strategies for children with genetic cancer predisposition, while strengthening collaboration between clinicians, researchers, and family support organisations.
